Nestled into a 10-acre suburban site, this facility looks to Prairie School design motifs and an organic interior palette to reflect a caring environment. Strong tans and muted reds are a recurring thematic element, from the architecture and wall coverings to the art and furniture. The bistro has a fully operational Starbucks alongside serving areas.
This large central bistro space serves as the hub of activity throughout the day, with quiet lounges and day spaces tucked further into wings near resident corridors. Although resident rooms are predominantly private, innovative layouts were implemented with the semi-private rooms in order to maximize privacy while allowing views to the outdoors from each bed. The facility is currently 100 beds, although the site and building layouts allow for one additional wing to be added in the future.
